My name is Tamara and I am the baker and decorator behind Kelah's Konfections.

Born and raised on the beautiful island of Trinidad, I am a self-taught baker, now residing in Brooklyn NY. I have been baking and decorating cakes for over 10 years.

Baking became my hobby when I served as apprentice to a relative who baked and decorated custom cakes.  I was amazed at her talent and soon I too became hooked.  My small hobby turned into word-of-mouth requests from family, friends and co-workers.  After fulfilling orders with an event planner, the referrals never stopped, and Kelah’s Konfections was born.

My recipes are specially curated to please both persons who love sweets, and the person who occasionally enjoys a sweet treat (like myself!).
